Comments:  Hi everybody -

I'm a native of Grand Rapids (aka River City), a transplant to the grand northlands of  the u.p., Atlantic Mine to be specific, outside of  Houghton in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

I'm in Lansing visiting family now and then.

My bike is a non-stock Vision R40, originally LWB, converted back to SWB and USS.  I like it a lot and set  it up for touring duty with 48-36-24 triple and a 13-32 rear;  Continental Top Touring 2000 20/26 tires with Shimano XT hubs, 36 hole front and rear, and Sun CR18 front and a Mavic touring rim rear.

I'm a rather slow cruising rider, but really like the motion and sensory experience of recumbents.
