Dinner at Clara's - Battle Creek. It was nearing dark. We didn't get to Ft Custer 'til 10:45 pm.

At only 42 miles, Day 2 was an R&R day. We cooled off at Gull Lake.

We agree. It was still HOT. Stopping for a drink, Lenny took off his helmet and set it on his panniers, then rode back a couple of miles looking for it.

Caught on the KalHaven Trail without trail passes, we paid.
