TCBA YCC Free 2025 Summer Biking Camp

Tri-County Bicycle Association (TCBA) Youth Cycling Club (YCC) proudly hosts the popular FREE 2024 kids biking camp from July 15th to July 18th. The camp is half day and runs from 9:00AM to 12:00pm. We will meet at  Hawk Island Park every morning at 8:45am.

Camp Overview

We will ride through beautiful scenery on well-maintained trails in the Greater Lansing area, including the river trails. Gain experience at your own pace as you develop riding skills, learn how to bike safely from local biking experts and local police, understand how to maintain and repair your bike, as well as having fun making new friends with a tasty treat at the end.

We also want to make this summer camp not just about biking, but to create a meaningful, educational, and enjoyable experience for us. Thanks to our partners, this year’s camp will be more fun and exciting.

What to Expect

During the camp, campers will learn basic biking skills,  bike maintenance, and other educational topics. Expect fun and exercise as well as other awesome outdoor adventures.

We GET GOING on the trails! Campers will ride on a variety of surfaces, develop their skills using their gears and brakes effectively, learn about trail etiquette. We will spend most of the time on our bikes and building our skills. Expect to be riding on the sidewalk/trails.

Thanks to our sponsor, ice cream, snacks, and water are available.
