All riders are invited to join us for this solemn and reflective ride. All supporters are invited to join us at the steps of The State Capitol at approximately 7pm or to show support along the route. Here is a tentative map of our route which is approx 9 mi. round-trip: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5851132

Registration will be from 5:15 to 6:05 pm at the plaza east of Wells Hall on the MSU campus. There is no charge for this event & it will be the exclusive Tri-County Bicycle Association Wednesday night ride. Restrooms will be available inside Wells Hall.

We’ll leave promptly at 6:30, in procession to The State Capitol with police escort. There will be a brief memorial ceremony with options to return to MSU -or- join us after the event at a place TBD where we'll celebrate the work of those in advocacy helping to make our roads safer for all of us.

If you're not comfortable riding after dark (or don't have lights, or have young children joining you) consider parking your car near the Capitol Bldg. (where we have our ceremony and finish the silent part of the event) and then drive home from there rather than riding back to campus.

HELMETS REQUIRED! Lights and bright clothing highly recommended for ride home. We will ride in the rain, but our thunderstorm date is Saturday, May 19th, 12 pm at same starting point. Sign-in starts @ 11:15 am. The route and other details will also be the same.
